Tickets are on sale now for the Linn Creek Arts Festival raffle, with the winner taking home two original paintings by 2010 Best of Show Artist Karen Cooper.

Titled “Here Comes Summer”, the paintings depict the coastline of Lake Okoboji in northwest Iowa and have a retail value of $600.

Cooper, who lives in Jefferson, Iowa, says "I do not make reproductions of any of my paintings, so each one that you look at is a unique rendering of my point of view." 

Raffle tickets are $5 each and can be purchased from Festival committee members or at Lillie Mae's Chocolates and The Perfect Setting in downtown Marshalltown.

The paintings will be on display at The Perfect Setting until the Festival.

The drawing will be held at the Festival on Sunday, July 17, but you need not be present to win.
