About Us
An annual art fair has been held almost every year by the Central Iowa Art Association since 1955. In 2009, the Association decided it could no longer sponsor the fair on its own due to a small volunteer base. The Arts & Culture Alliance volunteered to be the sponsoring organization. The Alliance is happy to maintain the tradition of this excellent event in Marshalltown!
The festival is held on the beautifully grounds of the Fisher Community Center. Artists and visitors enjoy pleasant atmosphere with plenty of shade trees and a sparkling pond adorned with Christian Peterson's final sculpture. This site is also home to an Impressionist Collection and Ceramic Study Collection.
